AP Exam
The AP U.S. History exam is this Friday at 1 pm Central Time! This is the AP Student Checklist - print it out and complete it as soon as possible. Students should also practice with the AP Exam Day Demo before taking the exam. Remember, if a tech issue may happen it likely will - going through the checklist and demo early this week should mitigate some of the potential problems for Friday's exam.
Heimler has some excellent videos about "How to SOURCE Documents" and "How to ARGUE with Documents." All students should watch both videos closely. We have gone over these skills before but it's a good idea to be confident of these techniques before the exam on Friday. If you are still starving for review on historical content, then remember to check out these time period videos from Adam Norris or Gilder Lehrman.
Boyd and I are planning on some Q&A sessions for Tuesday and/or Thursday via Zoom. These sessions will be optional. Be sure to check back (or check the itslearning calendar) later if you are interested in attending.
Grades
We have FOUR grades left for the year. All students should go to McGraw Hill Connect and complete the work posted to Crash Course Video Assignments. Each video is about 15 to 20 minutes long. The due date for these assignments is Monday, May 25th by 3 pm - NO EXTENSIONS. All of you have the choice to either start work on these assignments now, or to leave it after your AP U.S. History exam.
For those students that still need to turn in make up work - your window is closing fast. Grades will remain a zero if you do not manage to turn in the late work that I have already contacted you about. Keep checking Skyward, as I will be updating grades throughout the week.
