For those that are interested, I will be offering a review session on Saturday, April 27th from 10:30 AM to 12:30 PM. It will be in the Orchestra Room. Please SIGN UP as space may be limited.
We will be going over effective test-taking strategies for AP multiple choice questions, short answer questions and both the DBQ and Long Essay sections. Students that plan to attend should print out and bring the following materials - none will be provided. The materials can be found under the APUSH Review page. Print out and bring the Ch 28 Terms and Identify document to class on Thursday, April 11th. This assignment will be due in class on Monday, April 15th. Failure to complete, use pen, or late submission will result in points deducted.
Print out and complete the Ch 27 Terms and Identify document in blue or black pen. This assignment will be due in class on Friday, April 5th. Failure to complete, use pen, or late submission will result in points deducted.
Students will have an the opportunity to earn an additional 5 points on the Ch 27 quiz by doing something kind for a nearby WWII veteran. Mr. Edward Hull, of College Station, is turning 100 years old on April 27th and his family has expressed interest in him receiving as many cards as possible.
If interested, students should bring an appropriate birthday card and stamped envelope to class on April 18th. DO NOT seal the envelope. I need to review the cards before sending them out. We will finish addressing the envelope properly in class and I will collect them. If your envelope is lacking a proper stamp, then I cannot accept it for extra credit. LINK for info. Students have a choice between four films for extra credit on the Unit 10 Exam.
