UPDATE - I've now included a useful breakdown of the key differences between the Federalists vs. Anti-Federalists.
After speaking with Mrs. Boyd, we have decided to push back the Chapter 6 Quiz (which will include the Bill of Rights) to Wednesday, September 27th, and the Unit 2 Exam (Chapters 4, 5, 6) to Thursday, September 28th. The optional extra credit for the Unit 2 Exam will be due on the 28th. This decision will provide both us, and all of you, with additional time to process the content.
All students are to print out the packet below and bring it to class on Friday, September 22nd. Failure to to do so will result in points being taken off your grade. We will have time in-class to work on this packet. This activity will be due in-class on Monday, September 25th and will count as a quiz grade. Make sure you complete your work in blue or black pen!
Students have a choice between two films for extra credit on the Unit 2 Exam.
All students should open the documents below, print them out and have them ready for class on Wednesday, September 20th. We will be working on the documents and these activities will be collected for a grade. Failure to have the documents, and to write your answers in pen, will result in points deducted from your grade.
The Unit 2 Exam was previously scheduled for September 18th - that has been changed as a result of Hurricane Harvey. The new date for the Unit 2 Exam (Chapters 4, 5, and 6) will be September 26th. The exam will consist of 50 multiple choice questions. A study guide will be posted later.

Following the duration of the lockdown procedure for nearly the entirety of today's class, we will be completing the Ch 3 Quiz tomorrow. After speaking with Mrs. Boyd, 8th period will only be answering questions 11 through 20. So the quiz will be shorter for you all but I will not let you know which content in the chapter falls within those numbers - please review your notes!
And yes, we will also have time for the Document Analysis Quiz for Winthrop's "City Upon a Hill" for tomorrow.
Below is an optional study guide for you to use in preparation for the Unit 1 Exam - scheduled for Thursday, Sept. 14th. Remember that Mrs. Boyd will have tutorials for the exam Wednesday after school and I will have tutorials Thursday before school.
